If you are looking to buy new boots over the summer then moulded plastic studs are your best option. Please don't buy moulded blade boots or metal stud boots as they can snag on artificial surfaces and cause injury.

Moulded studs are recommended for all the surfaces you are likely to play on including Charters Astro pitches. Trainers or astro boots shouldn't be used on rubber crumb astro/3G pitches since they compress the surface. Astro boots are really only for sand based pitches which are becoming rare.
