Darren brings both experience and versatility to the team with the ability to play full back and wide man on either the left or right flank but most would highlight Right back as his best position.

Having started out at the club for the Rovers several years ago Daz has made a large number of club appearances and will be looking to nail down a regular place in the reserve team this season to bolster his chances of a first team recall.

Consistency and perseverance will be key to locking down a regular place with such strong competition all over the pitch but a very strong performance in the final 8.0 pre-season demolition of the Rovers have put him into a stronger position heading into the season.
